Nuggetty Garlic

Peter Yates and Sue McLeod have been growing and selling as Nuggetty Garlic for ten years now on the shoulder of Mt Tarrengower. Our garlic is a variety called 'Sonoran', that was imported from California more than 30 years ago. It is a strong, pungent garlic and keeps well. We have loyal and enthusiastic following in Bendigo, Castlemaine, Maldon and Riddell's Creek.

We harvest our crop in early November each year, and plant again in April. We are usually 'in the market' until April or May depending on the season and sales.
